Brief
Alisonn was appointed to deliver the technology systems for the show apartment at The Bryanston, working alongside Almacantar and interior designers Albion Nord.
The brief was to create a technology experience that complemented the interior design and supported the overall narrative of the development. Systems needed to be intuitive, discreet, and robust, enhancing the feel of the apartment without drawing focus away from the architecture, finishes, or furnishings.
As a show space, reliability and simplicity were critical. The technology had to perform consistently for viewings and events, while remaining easy for staff to operate day to day.
Solution
We delivered an integrated control, audio, networking, and shading solution designed to sit quietly within the interior while supporting a refined and polished user experience.
The Crestron control system was enhanced to provide simple, consistent control of audio and automated window treatments. Dual curtain tracks were integrated to allow layered control of sheers and curtains, giving flexibility for different lighting conditions and times of day.
Audio distribution is handled via Crestron DM-NAX, providing high-quality, low-latency audio throughout the apartment. Sonance in-ceiling speakers were selected for their discreet appearance and balanced sound, allowing music to be enjoyed without impacting the visual language of the space.
A Ruckus Networks infrastructure underpins the system, ensuring reliable performance and stability for control and audio distribution. All systems were carefully commissioned and tested to ensure dependable operation during continuous use.
The result is a show apartment where technology feels effortless and considered, supporting the design intent and helping visitors experience the space as it is meant to be lived in.
